		<description>I should note that I think software RAID is an symptom of RAIDs death.... It&#039;s a nail in the coffin.  We use software RAID but there are effective ways to improve IO that we&#039;re working on.

LOL... I like that.  This is one of the reasons I think the death will be 3-5 years out.  The software infrastructure needs to become stable enough so that commodity people can use them.</description>
