@Jonathan - yes we have, with both winners have been notified. One is yet to respond - I was hoping to have this information before writing another post to announce.

@Salim - Both courses starts at 8:30 am, with registration and then Peter Zaitsev keynoting. The official finish time is 5:00pm, with Open Q&A to follow (Open Q&A must finish by 6:00pm so we can vacate the room).

It's pretty quick to get from San Francisco -> SFO or Santa Clara -> SJC. You should be able to get a red eye flight back.

I am really interested. But I do want to fly back to the east coast on the same day. Can you tell me what time the course starts and what time it ends. Thanks

@MLBR - There are a couple of days of content - it's an intensive course ;)

Jokes aside - we expect most of our audience will be local. If you have another location in mind, feel free to let us know so we can add it to our demand list.

Sounds awesome, but it might be easier to justify the trip to my employer if there was at least a couple days of content. Any probability of this happening in the near future?

@Jeffrey - Glad to hear! You can sign up from http://www.percona.com/training/performance-optimization-for-mysql-with-innodb-and-xtradb.html

@jonathan - entry noted.

@Psih - We picked SF/Bay Area because it's a renowned technology hub, and we have a presence there. It's possible that we might have future events in Europe, but in the mean time you could also consider private training classes - http://www.percona.com/training
