Win free MySQL Conference Passes!

Want a free pass to the O’Reilly MySQL Conference next week in Santa Clara, California? It’s the MySQL conference, and the session lineup is awesome this year. We’ve got several free passes to give away. Post a comment here to claim your spot. First come, first served! (But make sure you are serious about committing to go — it would not be nice to claim a ticket and deny someone else the chance to go.)

Update Thanks everyone who commented! I think we have enough hats in the ring now… let me iron out the details, but I think all the tickets are claimed. Everyone who didn’t win — if we get another ticket, we’ll contact you, in order. And of course, remember that the expo hall passes are dirt cheap and you can come see us there, in booth #312! There’s a 20% discount code here: https://en.oreilly.com/mysql2011/public/regwith/mys11pkb

Update #2 We have three more passes to give away! Comment below!

This would be a great conference to go to, I’ve been working more with MySQL lately and this would help me get up to speed more quickly!

  3. Dylan says:

Sorry I was in hurry to add a comment and didn’t write down the reason why I want to attend. Recently, I got involved in a project to improve the MySQL performance and High-Availability. I really want to see the sessions and get some ideas from this conference. Thanks you.

Oooh ooh extras. I’d love to go!

  6. Charmaigne says:

I would love to attend and represent the Monterey Bay area because this is the place that Time forgot! It is beautiful where the deer and the antelope roam but there is no industry other than tourism, some academia, and remnants of the military base closure. I am working on my dissertation in organizational leadership and IST. This is a perfect opportunity to visit Santa Clara and immerse in some new thinking. I hope to cite the event, too. Maybe MPC will send me as an adjunct professor ambassador? Oh yes, budget cuts…Thanks for considering my request. Bye.

3 more passes? I would love to attend this conference as well. :)

  14. Hi Baron,

I would love to go to MySQLConf and I never had the chance to do that in the past. I’m living in the bay area so will be easy for me to attend.

    Thank you,
    - Marius -

  15. Omer Hasan says:

Never had a chance to go to one of these either, please count me in!

  16. Michael Peters says:

Would love to go. We love xtradb and are always looking to get more out of our mysql usage.

  17. Hi Baron,

I am in the process of deciding which DB to go with my new web application. Although MySQL was on the top of the list due to maximizing Activerecord on Rails, I am also looking into NoSQL option, MongoDB. If I can I would like this opportunity to go see MySQL conference to make my decision easier. I live in Mountain View, so this would be 5 minute drive.

    Thanks.
    Daniel

Do I still have a chance?
    Thank you!
