…. That way a single chart can provide all the interesting percentiles at once. This would also allow to visually detect anomalies… 99%ile is, IMHO, too little information. The average, 90%, 95% and 99% numbers together give a much more thorough view…

Baron, Yes… and I asked for just 95 because this is what was used in TPC-C, SpecJAppServer and similar benchmarks. Now I think we need a higher percentile number. Re Apdex how do you know acceptable query execution time ?

Thanks Baron, I Start to like 99th percentile a lot better than 95 these days. As long as you have fair number of events 1000+ it is a lot close to what you need. Being slow every 20th request which 95th allows is not OK these days.
